SORRY NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 WILL BE INVITED TO THE GUILD

The reason for this is based on experience on the premise of loyalty. Loyalty at younger ages is fickle at best hence it is something that only comes with experience in life, if you're a young buck trust me you do not know what loyalty is or at least have a firm grasps of it. So any of those who are 12,13, and even 16 years of age I am sorry I will not invite you to the guild simply b/c of one to many bad experiences dealing with young teens. There are always exceptions to the rules however, the only exception is that I may consider someone who is 17 and trust me if you are even considered you will be grilled with so many questions that it will make your head spin.

Who are the validus knights?:

• We are a PVE/PVP based guild we ask that all new members wishing to join our ranks be at least lvl 60 to ensure that you are committed to your training as well as your commitment to the guild.
  
  As a guild we work as a team and thus our ethos is simple. Honor, Loyalty, and Comraderie. If for some reason you are to be away for sometime then by all means let the leadership know. We may hold you well over 2-6 months if due to certain circumstances call you to be away for that long in real life. If however no specification as to why you are absent any knight will be removed within 1 months time frame from being away from the guild. Know that if any knights have been removed you will be notified accordingly via the mail system in game, and all you have to do is simply request to come back into the guild and you will be welcomed back with open arms for the saying goes, Once a Validus Knight always a Validus Knight.
  
  Know that as part of the Validus Knights you are to conduct yourself in a respectful fashion with guildmates and non guild mates. Any word of misconduct you will be subject to a counselling by the guild master. If you are counselled more then twice on the same type of incident you will be asked to leave the guild. We owe it to each other to look out and police ourselves. Know that you represent not only yourself but your fellow guildmates as well. 
  
  This guild works hard to better it's fellow knights in conquest and rewards i.e. helping out to get/finish quest/items HOWEVER! The first aspect above all else is helping your fellow knight no matter how exciting or mundane it might be. I nor the guild officers will tolerate guild hoppers or those who are just looking to be part of this guild just so you can have the opportunity to get the Uber gear, AND know you will be found out at somepoint if you happen to be one such person and you will be removed without question. 
  
  Friendship, respect, and loyalty above all else to each other is to be expected, and thus if you can exude those three things you will be very successful in this guild and greatly rewarded.  
  
  Officers:
  
  Officers are to be respected in regards to their responsibilities to the guild. Do not abuse their good nature and thus such actions are grounds for removal. Understand those with ranks have extra tasks and responsibilities outside of being just a Knight, and that anyone with rank has proven themselves to be able to look pass themselves and are willing to go the extra mile to help out fellow guildmates. Note that if one is to hold rank one is to maintain a presence throughout the guild. If said Officer is away for more 3 weeks they will be reduced accordingly, unless a viable reason is expressed for their absence. Officers are the ones who set the standard and should be the ones to set the example for all knights within the guild. Also they are also required to show temperance, fairness, and good judgment.
  
  ALL KNIGHTS ARE TO USE THE CHAIN OF COMMAND!!  i.e. if you have a problem and you notice a guild officer and guild master online, please go to the officer first, if the officer cannot help you he/she will then take it up the chain to the next rank. That offficer in turn will then contact the GM and the two can work together on finding a possible solution. Besides it is best to have multiple officers help vice one, and thus this gives every knight the means to utilize the chain as best as he/she possibly can.

  Ammendment#1 Once a Validus Knight always a Validus Knight Clause
  
  This ammendment of the Charter stipulates any former Knights who were given an honorable discharge i.e. left honorably will be afforded the opportunity to return provided that they had served with the Validus Knights for at least a month and served with honor.  If said Knight was above 40 and decided to change their main character and have rerolled a character the minimum season for acceptance will be 25.
  
  However,
  
  If said Knight was with the Validus Knights  and had not served for a month and is above the minimum rank of 60 then they will have to do a number of task to prove their devotion to the guild.
  
  
  The term "Month" is a loose term that is defined by not only Time in Service but also how notable that service was based on that characters actions, participation, and overall presence within the guild. Thus if a person was in the guild for 3 weeks and was always aiding guild members being proactive and a positive influence for others then the lack of Time in service will be compensated by the Type of Service that former knight conducted during his/her time within the guild.
  
  There may also be exceptions and/or additional requirements may be made at the discretion of the Commanding Officer and his support staff, based on the needs of the guild as well as the betterment of the guild as a whole.
